cupcake patrol

I baked these chocolate cupcakes for a colleague's birthday - topped with vanilla icing, toffee sprinkles, chocolate drizzles and half a local-grown strawberry. The batch made two full trays (far too many for our quaint office staff). Fortunately I had all these friends to help me finish them.

More foxy mittens, knitted with eco-friendly Peruvian wool in brown, black, beige, and navy. Also available in red.

It's midweek and there's no pick-me-up better than fluffy maple sour cream pecan muffins. I stole the recipe from design*sponge. And while my creations look nothing like the photos online, what they lack in style, they make up for in flavour.
